Absentee Ballots Available Now – Vote August 9th

Vote in the Primary Election! Absentee Ballots for the Primary for the Mid-Term Elections are available now.

You can request an absentee ballot from the town clerk by calling 802-442-1043, emailing townclerk@benningtonvt.org, or stopping by the Town Offices at 205 South Street. Once completed, you can return the ballot using the ballot box located outside the front entrance to the Town Offices. The drop box is open now until 4:30 pm on August 8.

For Bennington residents, In-person voting will be at the Firehouse located at 130 River Street. For North Bennington residents, in-person voting will be at the Village Trustees meeting room located in the Old Train Depot at 2 Depot Street. If you wish to return an absentee ballot on election day, you must bring it to your polling/voting location.

When you vote in person, you will be given all three ballots (for each of the parties) and you will choose one to fill out in the privacy of the voting booth.
